Frequently asked questions#
What does Qoren do?
Qoren runs AI agents for your business around the clock, on private cloud computers it sets up and looks after for you. You hire an agent, give it a job, and talk to it in the console or in your chat apps. See What Qoren is and who it is for.
Can I try Qoren before I pay?
You can create an account and look around every page for free. Creating an agent or an environment needs a plan, and monthly plans start with a 7-day free trial. The trial needs a card. See Plans and the free trial.
How long does a new agent take to set up?
Usually 10 to 15 minutes after you click Create agent. A brand-new environment adds a minute or two first. You can answer the agent's setup questions while you wait. See Agent setup is taking a long time.
What are credits, and what uses them?
Credits are what you spend on Qoren. Your plan adds them to one balance every month. Environments use them by the hour while they run, and the AI model's work and web searches use them too. See How credits work.
What happens when my credits run out?
Your agents pause until you top up, and a strip under the top bar tells you so. Your environments stay in place. You can also set a monthly budget that pauses agents before you spend more than you planned. See Top up your credits and Spend controls.
Do I need my own AI model key?
No. Agents use Qoren's model key, and the model's work is paid from your credits. If you prefer, connect your own key and pay the model provider directly. See Bring your own key.
Can I change an agent's AI model?
Yes, at any time after setup. Open the agent, go to Settings, and change the AI model. The change applies from its next run. See Choose a model.
Can people reach my agent outside Qoren?
Yes. Connect it to Telegram, Slack or Discord and people can message it there. It can also have an email address of its own, if your plan includes inboxes. See Chat channels and Give an agent an email address.
Can an agent work without me asking?
Where do I put my API keys and passwords?
In the Vault, where they are stored encrypted. When you create an agent, you choose which saved keys it can use. See Keys and passwords.
My agent stopped answering. What do I do?
Check its status, your credits, its health and its chat channels, then repair it if needed. The checklist is in My agent is not responding.
Can I get an agent back after removing it?
An agent is backed up automatically every few hours, and once more just before it is removed. You can restore a removed agent from those backups. See Remove or restore an agent.
Can I use Qoren from the command line?
Yes, on the Ultimate, Business and Enterprise plans, which include API access. The Qoren CLI lets you manage your agents and environments from a terminal, and the TypeScript SDK does the same from your own code. On Starter and Pro the web console does the same work. See The Qoren CLI and The SDK.
I forgot my password. How do I get back in?
Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Qoren emails you a 6-digit code, and you choose a new password with it. If you signed up with Google or GitHub, sign in with that button instead: there is no password to reset. See Sign-in and security.
