A client environment is an isolated place where one client's agents run, with that client's own files, credentials, and limits, kept apart from other clients.
In practice
It is the agency version of an agent environment, and it is what makes serving many clients safe. Without it, every client shares one machine, one set of keys, and one blast radius: a leaked credential or a runaway agent affects all of them at once. With it, a mistake stays inside one client. The part people get wrong is treating separate folders or separate prompts as isolation. Real isolation means the agents working for one client cannot read another client's files or use another client's credentials, even by accident. Example
An agency runs an inbox triage agent for a dental practice and a lead research agent for a law firm, each in its own client environment. The dental practice's mailbox credential exists only in its environment, so the law firm's agent cannot see it. When the law firm's agent hits a broken page and starts looping, the dental practice's inbox keeps being triaged on schedule, untouched.

Why does each client need a separate environment?

Is a client environment the same as a separate client account?
