What is Paperclip?
Paperclip is an MIT-licensed, self-hosted app for managing a team of AI agents like a company. You arrange agents on an org chart, give them goals and monthly budgets, require approval on the decisions that matter, and read back an activity log of what they did. The work itself is delegated to agent runtimes through adapters, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and gateway adapters for OpenClaw and Hermes, while the environments those runs execute in come from separate sandbox-provider plugins.
